Vi (Vodafone Idea Limited) is now offering new benefits to customers with its postpaid plans. Just a few days back, Vi updated its RedX postpaid plans which said that they will provide faster 4G speeds to the customers and removed the claim entirely from the plans. But still, the RedX plan customers get the priority when they are trying to get through the customer support of the telco. The postpaid plans of Vi are now offering its customers new benefits. These new benefits are related to Zomato and MPL. More on the story ahead.

Vi Postpaid Plans MPL and Zomato Benefit

Vi offers a number of postpaid plans. The thing worth noting is that the two new benefits of MPL and Zomato are included with each plan. For the unaware, Zomato is a company which delivers food for its customers and MPL (Mobile Premier League) is an e-sports platform where you can win or lose money.

As for the Zomato benefit, the customers get up to Rs 200 off on their orders. Of course, there are terms and conditions related to the offer. Not every order is going to get Rs 200 off on the purchase. The discount will depend on the kind of bill amount that is generated at the point of purchase.

Coming to the MPL benefit, the customers are eligible to win Rs 125 MPL cash which they can use to play games in the e-sports platform and stand a chance to win some real cash. Zomato and MPL are both new benefits offered to the customers.

But there are still the old benefits which came with the Vi postpaid plans. The customers are still eligible to get Amazon Prime Video on the purchase of any of the postpaid plans offered by the telco. These two new benefits have also been added in the Vi RedX plan. The Vi RedX plan also offers additional OTT benefits to the customers such as Netflix for one complete year worth Rs 5,988. Xiaomi has been working its way up in the Smart Home category of products as well. It recently launched the Mi Smart LED Bulb for Rs 799 which has come with the support of 16 million colours and can work with voice assistant as well as can be controlled by the app on the user's smartphone. Just before that, Xiaomi launched the Mi Power Bank 3i with two variants. One variant comes with 10,000mAh battery capacity and the other one comes with 20,000mAh. Let's take a look at the specifications and price of these Power Banks.

Mi Power Bank 3i: Specifications and Price

Let's start with the first variant in the lineup of Mi Power Bank 3i. It comes with 10,000mAh battery capacity. OnePlus 8T Official Launch Set for October 14, Could Be Priced Around 15% Higher Than OnePlus 8

Posted: 21 Sep 2020 09:57 PM PDT

This post first appeared on TelecomTalk Read more at: https://telecomtalk.info/oneplus-8t-pricing-leaked-online/299271/, OnePlus 8T Official Launch Set for October 14, Could Be Priced Around 15% Higher Than OnePlus 8

OnePlus officially confirmed that the OnePlus 8T 5G will launch on October 14 globally. In the press release sent by the company, it did not mention the OnePlus 8T Pro or the OnePlus 8T series, hinting that there won’t be any successor to OnePlus 8 Pro this time around. Besides announcing the launch date, OnePlus also started teasing the phone with #UltraStopsAtNothing hashtag. This means the phone will have 120Hz refresh rate like the OnePlus 8 Pro. However, the OnePlus 8T will still sport a Full HD+ panel. Right after the launch date announcement, a tipster leaked the European prices saying that the upcoming OnePlus 8T will start at 799 Euros which is a straight 100 Euros bump up from the OnePlus 8.

OnePlus 8T: Pricing Leaked

A tipster named Chun leaked the European pricing of the OnePlus 8T. According to him, the 8T will arrive in two variants- 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB. The base variant will retail at 799 Euros, whereas the premium model will cost 899 Euros. For the unaware, the OnePlus 8 in 8GB+128GB configuration was launched at 699 Euros. And the OnePlus 8 Pro is currently retailing at 899 Euros for the base variant. So the price bump is significant which could mean the phone will carry some major upgrades.

The Indian prices of the OnePlus 8T are unavailable at the moment. However, we are expecting OnePlus to price the 8T aggressively and below Rs 50,000 itself. For the unaware, the OnePlus 8 5G is currently retailing for a starting price of Rs 41,999, while the OnePlus 8 Pro costs Rs 54,999 for the base variant. So the price of Rs 44,999 or Rs 47,999 is entirely possible for the OnePlus 8T’s base variant.

Going by the rumours, the OnePlus 8T will have a 120Hz screen, Snapdragon 865+ processor, up to 12GB of RAM, upgraded quad-camera setup, bigger battery and it is also said to be the first OnePlus phone to offer 65W fast charging. However, the phone will likely miss out on features like the Quad HD+ display, wireless charging and IP68 rating.

Tata Sky Broadband Now Offering Landline Service for Free With Long-Term Plans

Posted: 21 Sep 2020 06:33 PM PDT

This post first appeared on TelecomTalk Read more at: https://telecomtalk.info/tatasky-broadband-launches-landline-service/299135/, Tata Sky Broadband Now Offering Landline Service for Free With Long-Term Plans

Tata Sky is ramping up its broadband offerings. Both Airtel and Jio have upgraded their broadband plans and are now offering unlimited data with its every plan. In the bid to compete against the other internet service providers (ISPs) and stay afloat in the market, Tata Sky is now offering landline service with its broadband plans. It is not surprising though. Many broadband customers of the company were wondering why they were not getting the landline service with their broadband plans when Jio and Airtel customers were. Now, that has been changed by Tata Sky.

Tata Sky Broadband Landline Service

Tata Sky is providing its broadband customers with landline service now. It is available on all the plans. But not every plan includes it for free. So Tata Sky offers broadband service with many different validity periods.

There are unlimited plans which come for 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months. So with all the 1 month and 3-month plans, the customers get landline service but for that, they will have to pay Rs 100 per month extra on the base fare of their plan. But for all the unlimited plans which come with a validity of 6 and 12 months, they come with landline service included for free. So the customers who are going for long term plans, they will have the benefit of landline service for free.

It is still not the same as what Airtel and Jio offer with their broadband plans. Since landline service is included for free in broadband plans provided by both the companies, even on their cheapest plans. But that is not the same case with Tata Sky. Here the customer needs to pay Rs 100 extra monthly rental for the landline service if they are going for an unlimited plan which has a validity of 1 or 3 months.

Along with this, Tata Sky has also made a lot of changes to its broadband offerings. First is that it is now offering its 'Fixed Data Plan' to very limited circles in India. As for the unlimited broadband offerings, there is a major change as well. Now two 1 month unlimited plans are available to be subscribed by the customers. One plan comes for Rs 850 and it provides users with 100 Mbps internet speed. The other plan comes for Rs 950 plan comes for 150 Mbps.

For the unaware, the unlimited broadband plans still come with a FUP limit. All the unlimited plans come with a FUP restriction of 3.3TB data after which the speed of the internet is reduced to 3 Mbps for the customers.
