bsnl-bharat-fiber-revamped-plans-now-live
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has revamped its existing Bharat Fiber plans to offer enhanced speeds and data limits across multiple circles in India. The state-run operator earlier in the month celebrated 20 years of its corporatization with BSNL dedicating the entire month of October as Customer Delight Month. BSNL planned multiple activities as part of its Customer Delight Month initiative that included revising its existing Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) plans in a bid to retain existing users while also targeting new users. Further, an internal list accessed by TelecomTalk earlier in the month highlighted the plans that were set for revamp included over 50 FTTH plans in its North, South and West zones. The operator also offers over 100 plans in its East Zone with several of these plans set for a revamp as well.

BSNL Revamped Plans Now Live in Multiple Circles Across India

According to the BSNL portals, the operator has now revamped its existing Bharat Fiber plans in nine circles including Chandigarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. Under the revamped plans, the operator is now offering up to 50 Mbps speeds on its plans priced under Rs 500 per month including its "100GB CUL" plan priced at Rs 499 per month. The operator now enables users subscribed to the 100GB CUL plan to browse at 50 Mbps speed till 100GB with the operator restricting the speed to 2 Mbps upon reaching the limit. However, the plans priced between Rs 650 to Rs 799 under the revamp offers 5 Mbps speeds to users on reaching the data limit. It has to be noted that the “500GB CUL” plan priced at Rs 777 per month was revised in early October to offer up to 100 Mbps speeds till 500GB. The users subscribed to the 500GB CUL plan will be restricted to 5 Mbps upon reaching the 500GB data limit.

The BSNL plans priced between Rs 800 to Rs 999 per month such as the 600GB CUL plan priced at Rs 849 per month now offers up to 100 Mbps speeds till 600GB. The users subscribed to the Bharat Fiber plans priced between Rs 800 to Rs 999 per month will be restricted to 10 Mbps upon reaching the data limit. The 600GB plan earlier offered users up to 50 Mbps speed till 600GB with BSNL restricting the speed to 2 Mbps upon users reaching the data limit.

BSNL Also Revamps its Top-Tier Plans Priced Above Rs 1000 Per Month

BSNL has also revamped its Bharat Fiber plans priced between Rs 1000 to Rs 1499 per month including "750GB Plan Monthly" to offer up to 200 Mbps speed till 3.3 TB (3300GB). Vivo Might Launch New Operating System ‘Origin OS’ in Coming Months

vivo-launch-new-operating-system-origin-os
Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Vivo might soon launch a new Android operating system (OS) for its users called 'Origin OS'. The new system will be replacing the current OS which is 'Funtouch OS'. The exact date for the launch of this new system is unknown. But as per a report from Digital Chat Station (DCS), Vivo might launch the new OS by the end of this year.  The Origin OS is also expected to be among the first echelon of Android customised user interface (UI). More on the story ahead.

Vivo to Bring Users New System Called 'Origin OS'

The Origin OS will come with multiple improvements over the Funtouch OS that Vivo devices currently run on. The Chinese giant is going to launch the Vivo X60 series later this year and it just might happen that it comes with the new Origin OS.

If you pay attention to the name of the new system, it has been said that the Origin OS literally means 'Original Operating System'. So it is really intriguing to think about the changes that Vivo might bring with its new operating system.

An important thing to note here would be that during last year, in the same period, Vivo's Funtouch OS project manager had posted on Weibo about a new operating system namely 'JoviOS' that the company was working on. But due to unknown reasons, Vivo is said to have abandoned that project.

Thus it is safe to assume that the Origin OS is an even better and improved system than JoviOS. Vivo hasn't said or confirmed anything about the new 'Origin OS' yet but with time it will be cleared whether the Chinese giant will release the operating system for the users or not.

As for Funtouch OS, it is unclear whether it will be discontinued or not. The company has been working on developing stable Android 11 updates for the Funtouch OS so rationally it is strange to think that it is also going to launch a new OS.

Broadband Internet Users Can Enhance Their Connection with Simple Tricks

broadband-internet-enhance-connection-simple-tricks
Every one of us at some point face issues with the speed of our broadband internet connection. We can't do a lot of things without a high-speed and reliable internet connection such as streaming full HD or 4K videos, real-time online gaming, and more. If you have picked a high-speed internet plan and yet you don't get the high speeds, then there are a few things you can do to optimise your Wi-Fi connection. Mentioned below are all the things you can do to improve your Wi-Fi connection.

Ways to Improve Broadband Internet Connection

First thing's first, if you have an old router, then please upgrade it to a new one. Modern generation routers provide easy configurations and more data throughput. Once that is done, check the direction of the antenna in the router. Ensure that the antenna of the Wi-Fi router is parallel to the antenna in your gaming device. Even keeping one antenna horizontal and the other one vertical can work well for your gaming, video, or downloading experience.

Another thing which you must do is evaluate the strength of the Wi-Fi network. There are multiple apps present in both the Android Play Store and Apple App Store which can do this for you. It will help you identify the dead zones in your house where Wi-Fi connectivity is not as impressive as on other parts.

If there are multiple devices connected to the same Wi-Fi router, then it only makes sense that you disconnect some of the devices from the network during heavy streaming or online gaming purposes.

On rare occasions, there is also interference with the Wi-Fi network. See if your Wi-Fi is placed correctly. If not, then the performance of the network is bound to be bad. So keep your Wi-Fi in a place where you don't have to worry about its network being interfered with.

One of the best ways to fix Wi-Fi is to simply restart it. It works well for a lot of users. Your network needs to be refreshed from time to time. Thus restarting the router becomes necessary sometimes when your Wi-Fi connection is acting strange.

The last thing that you can do is connect to the right channel. The new generation routers give users the option to connect with multiple channels. Make sure the one you are connected to is the right one depending on the kind of distance you have from your router. Generally, the 5 GHz channel works better when you are close to the router and the 2.4 GHz channel works better when you are a little away.
