Poco X3, the best smartphone in the Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 price segment, is getting a major price cut on Flipkart. The Poco X3 will be available at just Rs 13,999 on Flipkart starting from January 18. E-commerce portal Flipkart announced ‘Big Saving Days’ sale from January 20 (event starts on January 19 for Flipkart Plus customers). However, the Poco X3 will be available at a discounted price of Rs 14,999 for an additional one day, i.e., on January 18. On top of the Rs 14,999 starting price, the Poco X3 is eligible for additional Rs 1,000 discount. The additional discount offer brings down the price of the base variant to Rs 13,999. Launched at a starting price of Rs 16,999 last year, the Poco X3 offers a 120Hz screen, Snapdragon 732G chipset, beefy 6000mAh battery and a 64MP quad-camera setup. Poco X3 Price in India Reduced for a Limited Period

Starting with the specifications of the Poco X3, the phone flaunts a 6.67-inch Full HD+ LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 technology, HDR 10 support and 240Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, the Poco X3 has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset, paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. Users can expand the storage via the hybrid microSD card slot.

The Poco X3 rocks a quad-camera setup on the back; A 64MP Sony IMX682 primary sensor is present on the back that is paired with a 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. There’s a 20MP selfie camera. The handset recently received MIUI 12 update and will soon pick up the Android 11 update as well.

Sensors on the smartphone include Acceleration Sensor, Gyroscope, Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, E-Compass and a side-mounted Fingerprint Sensor. The phone is backed by a 6000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging. It weighs 225 grams.

The spec-sheet of the Poco X3 looks better than any other device in the price range. At Rs 14,999 for the base 6GB+64GB variant, it is a stellar smartphone. The Poco X3 excels in the camera, display and performance departments. More importantly, it doesn’t show any ads in the UI.

If you have an HDFC bank card, you can pick up the base model for just Rs 13,999, and at that price, it is the best phone beating the likes of Redmi Note 9 Pro, Realme 7 and the Samsung Galaxy M31s. Poco also announced additional deals on Poco M2 and Poco C3 smartphones.

Postpaid plans have gained popularity since the time competition in the domain has increased. Reliance Jio introduced its postpaid plans in the second half of 2020 called 'JioPostpaid Plus'. Followed by the launch of Jio's postpaid plans, Bharti Airtel extended the availability of its base postpaid plan of Rs 399 across India. Bharti Airtel's Rs 399 postpaid plan offers 40GB data to the user. There is also unlimited voice calling benefit to any network within India and 100 SMS/day offered with the plan. Users get a free over-the-top (OTT) benefit of Airtel Xstream Premium. There are Airtel Thanks benefits also provided to the users.

Reliance Jio Rs 399 Postpaid Plan

Reliance Jio's Rs 399 postpaid plan offers users 75GB of data. After exhausting this data, for consuming each extra GB of data, Rs 10 is charged from the user. Users also get a data rollover facility of up to 200GB with unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS/day benefits. There is a complimentary subscription to all the Jio apps included with the plan. But this is not all; users also get multiple OTT benefits including Amazon Prime, Disney+ Hotstar VIP, and Netflix.

Vodafone Idea Rs 399 Postpaid Plan

Vodafone Idea offers the Rs 399 postpaid plan to its users with 40GB data and is also giving 150GB extra data with a data rollover facility of up to 200GB. Users also get free voice calling and 100 SMS/day benefits. The 150GB extra data will be valid up to the first 6 months from getting the plan. There is also an OTT benefit of Vi Movies & TV. Users don’t get anything else with this plan.

Verdict

It is evident that Reliance Jio's Rs 399 postpaid plan is miles ahead of Vodafone Idea's and Airtel's Rs 399 postpaid plans. Solely in terms of data, the Vodafone Idea plan offers the maximum data, but that is just because there is an additional 150GB data benefit for now. However, when OTT benefits are concerned, Jio offers the best deal amongst all. Each of the plans comes with unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS/day benefit. None of the offerings provides any extra connections, but that is understandable since they are entry-level plans. After looking at the benefits, which plan would you choose amongst these three?

The voice calling service is being offered by the company’s landline service. Customers will also get free access to Airtel Xstream App subscription, Wynk Music subscription with unlimited downloads option and free access to Shaw Academy course. This plan does not come with any OTT subscriptions.

Bharti Airtel Rs 799 Broadband Plan in 2021: Check Benefits

The Bharti Airtel 799 or Airtel Xstream Fiber Rs 799 plan is a step up from the Rs 499 broadband plan. It comes with 100 Mbps speeds, unlimited data with 3.3TB FUP limit per month and unlimited voice calling benefit. Similar to the Rs 499 Airtel Xstream Fiber, this plan also comes with Airtel Xstream app, Wynk Music and Shaw Academy free subscription. Again, Airtel is not offering any OTT subscriptions with this broadband plan.

Interested customers can also avail the Airtel Xstream Box worth Rs 3,999 by paying Rs 1,500 security deposit. Along with the box, the first-month recharge will be provided to the customer by the company, and it is an HD pack.

Third on the list, we have the Rs 999 Airtel Xstream Fiber broadband plan. This plan is termed as ‘Best Seller’ by Airtel itself. Benefits of this plan include 200 Mbps speeds, unlimited voice calling and unlimited data (3.3TB limit). It is also the first plan in Airtel Xstream Fiber portfolio to ship with free OTT subscriptions. Again, customers can avail an Xstream Box worth by paying Rs 1,500 security deposit.

The free OTT subscriptions include Amazon Prime, ZEE5 Premium and Disney+ Hotstar VIP. In addition to these, other subscriptions include Airtel Xstream app, Wynk Music and Shaw Academy.

Bharti Airtel Rs 1,499 Broadband Plan in 2021: Check Benefits

The Rs 1,499 Airtel Xstream Fiber broadband plan is one of the best broadband plans available in the country right now. It comes with 300 Mbps speeds, unlimited calling and 3.3TB FUP limit. Similar to the Rs 999 Xstream Fiber plan, this plan also comes with the same OTT subscriptions, and the same basic benefits of Airtel Xstream app, Wynk Music and Shaw Academy.

The premium plan in Airtel Xstream Fiber portfolio is the 1 Gbps plan that costs Rs 3,999 per month. Benefits include 1 Gbps speeds, free voice calling and 3.3TB FUP limit. Users will also get the option to choose Airtel Xstream Box by paying Rs 1,500 security deposit. And the OTT subscriptions include Amazon Prime, ZEE5 Premium and Disney+ Hotstar VIP. Just a couple of days ago, Airtel announced that the Rs 3,999 Xstream Fiber broadband plan now comes with a free 4×4 Wi-Fi router to allow customers to enjoy the 1 Gbps speeds.

Airtel Xstream Fiber OTT Subscriptions: Terms and Conditions

Talking about the terms and conditions of the OTT subscriptions offered by Airtel Xstream Fiber plans, there a total of three of them. Users can redeem the Amazon Prime subscription worth Rs 999 and Disney+ Hotstar VIP membership worth Rs 399 via the Airtel Thanks app. However, the ZEE5 Premium subscription worth Rs 999 will be available to those customers who also purchase the Xstream Box by paying Rs 1,500 security deposit.

As mentioned above, all the Airtel Xstream Fiber plans come with an option to get the free Airtel Xstream Box worth Rs 3,999 by paying a security deposit of Rs 1,500.

Other terms and conditions include a Rs 1,000 installation fee if the customers choose the plans for one month. This security deposit will be waived off on three, six months and one-year plans.
