FAU-G (Fearless and United Guards) now has an official release date. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and the game maker nCore Games announced the game would be released in India on January 26 aka on Republic Day. FAU-G is an action game set at India’s northern border with the soldiers protecting the country from hostile invaders. Announced right after PUBG Mobile’s ban in India, FAU-G’s initial release date was set for October-end. However, the launch was delayed due to undisclosed reasons. At the end of November, nCore Games opened the game for pre-registration on Google Play Store. At the moment, there’s no word on the launch of FAU-G for iOS and iPadOS. Today, FAU-G’s anthem has been released through a trailer. FAU-G Anthem Released: What You Need to KnowLast month, the official Google Play Store listing of FAU-G gave a glimpse at what to expect from the game. We already know that FAU-G is all about the soldiers guarding the country in the northern border. Today, FAU-G further stated on Twitter, “What will you do when they come? We will hold our ground & fight back because we are Fearless. United. Unstoppable FAU: G.” FAU-G’s announcement in India came right after PUBG Mobile’s ban in the country. Many questions were sparked regarding the FAU-G announcement, but nCore Games cleared the air saying the launch of FAU-G has no relation with PUBG Mobile’s ban. The game maker also confirmed that FAU-G would not have a battle royale mode at the launch. The first episode of FAU-G is set at Line of Actual Control (LAC) Ladakh. The 1:38-long video shows Chinese troops entering our land and the Indian soldiers will protect them from invading. FAU-G is a Made in India game and aims to show how Indian soldiers are protecting the country. PUBG Mobile has gained immense popularity in India because of its user-friendly interface and battle royale mode. PUBG Corporation is still trying to bring back the game, so it will be a good opportunity for FAU-G to gain a user base. PUBG Mobile remains banned in India and there’s no update on when it is relaunching in the country. |
| Broadband Network Disconnection Solutions You Can Check Out Posted: 03 Jan 2021 02:20 AM PST This post first appeared on TelecomTalk Read more at: https://telecomtalk.info/broadband-network-disconnection-solutions-you-should-know/322640/, Broadband Network Disconnection Solutions You Can Check Out
One of the most frustrating incidents in a person's day is when he/she is doing important work online, and their internet connection either drops or lags. This is a common problem faced by a lot of users who own a broadband connection. The need for a stable and fast broadband connection is at an all-time high because many users are staying inside and working from their homes. There are certain things which you can do to remedy the situation of a bad broadband connection, keep reading ahead to find out. Things You Can do to Improve Broadband Connection StabilityThe first thing that you can do for fixing a bad broadband connection is fixing all the software issues in the modem. Software issues can creep up if you are running the modem for a long time without resetting it from time to time. Adding to this, you should also check if the firmware version of your router is latest or not. If not, it would be wise to update it manually. Also, you can turn on auto-updates for your routers. The same applies to Wi-Fi extenders as well. Next thing would be to replace any broken or damaged component from your broadband connection. If it is the router, then get the latest generation router available in the market if you want a high-speed internet plan. It is also a good idea to look at the wire/cable of your internet connection. Sometimes, the wire/cable gets damaged due to which your internet connection might become unstable. Thus replace any damaged component from your broadband connection. If you are working a little far from where your router is located, you can extend your router range. Set it to the maximum range you want it to cover in your house or office. However, a thing worth noting here is that even with the most efficient routers, you won't get the best internet experience when you are too far from it. Switch to a lesser congested network. Usually, if there are too many devices connected to the same network with low-bandwidth, it results in a bad internet experience. The speed gets distributed, internet lags, and sometimes even disconnects. Thus either remove some devices from the network or get a new broadband plan which comes with a higher-bandwidth capable of handling a crowded network. If there are any more solutions that you can think of, kindly drop them in the comments section below! |
| BSNL to Operate Mobile Network of MTNL in Delhi and Mumbai Circle Posted: 02 Jan 2021 11:00 PM PST This post first appeared on TelecomTalk Read more at: https://telecomtalk.info/bsnl-mtnl-delhi-mumbai-dot-mobile-network/322628/, BSNL to Operate Mobile Network of MTNL in Delhi and Mumbai Circle
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is going to be operating the mobile network of Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) from January 1, 2021. This can be confirmed via a report from Kerala Telecom. Last year on December 10, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) provided the state-run telco with a unified license for all the 22 telecom circles in India. This also included the Delhi and Mumbai telecom circles. So now, BSNL will be operating the mobile networks of MTNL in Delhi and Mumbai circles — more details on the story ahead. BSNL Will Act as an Outsourced Agency for Operating MTNL Mobile NetworksThe state-run telco is operating the mobile networks of MTNL by acting as an outsourced agency for the company. The operations for BSNL in Delhi and Mumbai have already started. However, there will be no tangible change in the services for the users. From the perspective of the users, everything will remain the way it was earlier. This could all be dated back to October 27, 2020; when DoT received a proposal from the CMD (Chairman and Managing Director) of BSNL asking to operate the MTNL mobile networks. The telecom department took the proposal seriously and had lengthy discussions for the same with the directors of MTNL and BSNL in the presence of Additional Secretary of DoT on December 15, 2020. As a result of the meeting, DoT instructed BSNL through a letter dated December 31, 2020, to start operating the mobile networks of MTNL from January 1, 2021, acting as an outsourced agency. The telecom department has further asked the CMD of BSNL to complete all the formalities regarding the matter as soon as possible. Further, it has been made clear by DoT that the liability of maintaining all the regulatory compliances in Mumbai and Delhi circles is MTNL's and not of BSNL. So now, MTNL users living in the concerned telecom circles can continue enjoying the mobile services they have subscribed to through the current network itself. As mentioned above, there will be no change in services from the perspective of the users. Only instead of MTNL, the mobile network will now be managed by BSNL. BSNL will be overtaking the mobile networks of MTNL in New Mumbai and Kalyan (Mumbai area) and Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad (NCR region) including the whole of New Delhi. This is a good move by BSNL and DoT. Many would argue that BSNL and MTNL should be merged to compete with other three private telcos – Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone Idea (Vi). |
| Reliance Jio Removes Complimentary Data Vouchers with Talk Time Plans Posted: 02 Jan 2021 05:35 PM PST This post first appeared on TelecomTalk Read more at: https://telecomtalk.info/jio-data-vouchers-removal-talktime-plans/322589/, Reliance Jio Removes Complimentary Data Vouchers with Talk Time Plans
Reliance Jio is no longer offering the complimentary data benefit with its talk time plans. Similarly, Jio’s 4G Data Vouchers are no longer offering voice calling benefit. In early 2020, Jio started providing free data vouchers up to 100GB data with its talk time plans, whereas the telco’s 4G Data Vouchers came with up to 1,000 minutes of Jio to non-Jio voice calls. The Mukesh Ambani-led telco introduced the data vouchers as a complimentary benefit to the users on off-net calls. To recall, Jio offered 1GB data for every Rs 10 spent by the users on making off-net calls. In the same policy, Jio offered 100GB free data with the Rs 1,000 talk time plan. It makes sense for Reliance Jio to stop offering free data vouchers because the telco has started providing unlimited off-net calls to any network. Reliance Jio Stops Offering Free Data Vouchers With Talk Time PlansOn the last day of 2020, Reliance Jio said it would again start offering unlimited off-net voice calls as the zero IUC regime kicks in the industry. When Jio started limiting off-net calls with all the prepaid plans and started charging 6 paise per minute with talk time plans, it provided the users complimentary data vouchers. For example, Jio users received 1GB of data voucher for every Rs 10 spent on off-net calls. Reliance Jio’s talk time plans of Rs 10, Rs 20, Rs 50, Rs 100, Rs 500 and Rs 1,000, offered up to 100GB of complementary data. But now, they just ship with free talk time. The Rs 1,000 Jio Top-Up plan from Jio now offers just Rs 844.46 talk time benefit. Jio Removes Voice Calling Benefit With 4G Data VouchersSimilar to the Jio Top-Up or Jio Talk Time plans, the company revised its 4G Data Vouchers priced at Rs 11, Rs 21, Rs 51 and Rs 101. The Rs 11 4G Data Voucher from Jio offered 75 minutes of Jio to non-Jio voice calls, whereas the Rs 101 data voucher offered 1,000 minutes of Jio to non-Jio calls. Alongside adding the voice calling benefit, Jio also doubled the data benefit. For example, the Rs 11 4G Data Voucher used to ship with just 400MB of data benefit, but it now offers 800MB of data. As per the latest development, Jio did not make any changes to the data benefit of its 4G Data Vouchers, but it removed the non-Jio calling benefit. More importantly, these are just data vouchers now with no voice calling minutes. What do you think of this move from Reliance Jio? Let us know in the comments section below. |
