OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite Camera Specifications Surfaces, to be Headlined by 64MP Sensor

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus is gearing up for the launch of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 which is expected to launch on February 11. However, it won't be the only device in the Nord series as the company is also developing a OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite. The specification details of the handset were already revealed earlier this week. Now a tip suggests camera details of the device. Renowned tipster Yogesh Brar has provided intel that the device will feature a 64MP camera setup.

Specification Details for OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite

The report informs that the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite will come with a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 64MP Omnivision sensor. The device will also feature two secondary cameras – a 2MP macro and a 2MP mono sensor. The front of the device is expected to feature a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor. The report also suggested that the Nord CE 2 Lite will not feature the alert slider.

In a separate report from 91mobiles, it was speculated that the handset will also feature an LCD display which would make it the first device in the Nord series to feature an LCD display in India. Earlier models of the Nord series – OnePlus Nord N10, Nord N100, and Nord N200 were launched with LCD display but not in India.

The reports that surfaced previously this week suggested that the device will come with a 6.59-inch Full HD+ fluid display with a 90Hz refresh rate. OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite is expected to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC under the hood. This confirms the fact that the device will have 5G support. The device is expected to arrive with two storage variants – 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB RAM and internal storage. The handset might be backed by a 5000mAh battery and support 33W fast charge technology. Moreover, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite might come under the Rs 20,000 price segment.

Odisha to Get 4G Connectivity in 4000 Villages Under BharatNet: MoS for Communications

Odisha is going to see 4G networks reaching 4000 of its villages under the BharatNet project of the Indian government. Devusinh Chauhan, Minister of State (MoS) for Communications, has confirmed that a proposal for the same has been cleared by the centre, reports TNN.

According to Chauhan, the government has been installing over 2542 mobile towers in the left-wing extremism (LWE)-affected areas, including 483 towers in Odisha. With these new mobile towers, 4G connectivity in the interior pockets of the state would be delivered.

State Government Demanding for Strengthening Mobile Connectivity

The Odisha state government has been demanding the centre to move ahead faster with strengthening the mobile connectivity so that the development in the state can take place faster.

Chauhan noted that Wi-Fi hotspots had been set up by the centre in over 2,511-gram panchayats in Odisha until December 31, 2021. The Phase-II of the BaratNet project is being implemented by the Odisha government, the minister said.

The new mobile towers in the state are certainly going to benefit the people living in the rural areas of Odisha and help with the overall development of the state. It would ultimately add to India's economy.

Rumours regarding the upcoming device from Oppo – the Find X5 Pro have been emerging for quite some time. Now in a new development, price and specifications details of the handset have been leaked. In addition to this, a few renders of the smartphone which were apparently for promotion purposes have also surfaced. It is being speculated that the upcoming flagship Oppo Find X5 Pro will be equipped with a top-notch camera system developed in collaboration with Swedish firm Hasselblad. The brand is also developing the vanilla model of the series along with Find X5 Pro and some specifications of the former have also surfaced over the web ahead of the launch. Let's find out more.

Expected Specs for Oppo Find X5 Pro

The details regarding the Find X5 Pro smartphone have been leaked by German blog WinFuture.de in a report. It suggests that the device will come featuring a 6.7-inch QHD+ (3,216×1,440 pixels) AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. The display is also expected to have a low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) technology as well as Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for an added layer of protection. The handset is expected to operate on Android 12 with ColorOS 12.1 on top.

Oppo Find X5 Pro is rumoured to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Internal storage on the device is expected to be 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. On the camera front, the smartphone will feature a triple rear camera setup consisting of two 50MP lenses and a 13MP telephoto lens. The camera performance on the handset is rumoured to receive an enhancement via a dedicated MariSilicon X AI chip. Find X5 Pro is speculated to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery that would support 80W fast wired charging alongside wireless charging support.

Price Details and Availability

The upcoming Oppo Find X5 Pro, according to the leaked renders will come in Ceramic Black and Ceramic White colour options. Oppo Find X5 Pro is expected to arrive with a price tag of more than EUR 1,200 which is around Rs 1,02,500. The handset will have a single 12GB + 256GB storage variant. Rumours suggest that the smartphone may be launched by the brand during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022 in Barcelona scheduled for later this month.

It looks like Jio has made a habit of surprising users with a network down scenario. Jio users in Mumbai are complaining of the network being down since approximately 12 PM, according to the downdetector. The thing is, every company's network goes down some time or the other; the issue with Jio's network down scenario is that it is happening at a large scale.

To recall, back in October 2021, many users around the country from different states such as Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra were complaining about Jio's network going down.

Today, it has happened again, but this time, it looks like only people living in the Mumbai area are affected.

Why Is Jio Network Down?

Reliance Jio has not responded to the queries of TelecomTalk as of the time of writing and publishing this story.

The telco didn't give a reason for its network going down back in 2021, and it is unlikely to give one now. Many users on Twitter are complaining about the network of Jio going down in the Mumbai region. Some users are even asking the company for compensation.

Last time around, when Jio's network went down, the telco had offered additional days of validity to the users affected.

However, the frustration that the users in Mumbai might be facing right now would certainly be worth more than days of complimentary service. A top-class telecom operator's network going down, again and again, isn't something to be taken in a light manner. Multiple businesses and households depend on Jio's mobile networks for connecting with others across the country. A scenario such as this can cause a lot of loss to individuals. Jio not responding to the issue can mean that the company is still working on fixing it, but surely, it should be a long-term fix.

Infinix Zero 5G Officially Confirmed to Launch on February 14 with MediaTek Dimensity 900

Hong Kong-based smartphone company Infinix is gearing up for the launch of its all-new Infinix Zero 5G. The device was earlier reported to arrive on February 8 but an official confirmation for the launch date states otherwise. A microsite has been set up for the upcoming smartphone on Flipkart which suggests that Infinix Zero 5G will be launching on Valentine's Day which is February 14 starting from 12 noon.

Details on Infinix Zero 5G

The details available regarding the Infinix Zero 5G on the Flipkart microsite also revealed that the handset will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset under the hood. Moreover, the AnTuTu benchmark score of the smartphone has also been revealed which is 475,073. The company has claimed that the handset will be the fastest 5G smartphone in the price segment and is also going to feature support for thirteen 5G bands.

The previous leaks have also provided intel on some of the major specifications of the device. Infinix Zero 5G is expected to arrive with a display featuring an FHD+ 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The leaks also suggest that the handset will be equipped with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage. The internal storage on the device could be 128GB. Talking about the camera module of the device, Infinix Zero 5G will feature a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 48MP AI primary sensor. The device will also feature a fingerprint scanner on the power button.

Moreover, the handset is expected to operate on Android 11 OS out-of-the-box with the company's own XOS on top. The device is said to be backed by a 5000mAh battery and is likely to support 33W fast charge technology. Furthermore, the device is rumoured to be available in Orange and Black colour options. In an older report, Infinix India XEO Anish Kapoor had stated that the next 5G smartphone from the brand will cost less than Rs 20,000 and hence presumably, Infinix Zero 5G will cost less than Rs 20,000.
