However, the state-owned telco BSNL also provides prepaid plans that offer benefits just as the other operators. As a matter of fact, BSNL provides both short-term and long-term prepaid plans for its users that offer a hefty amount of data. However, in this article, we are going to take a look at the prepaid plans offered by BSNL for its users who are looking for long-term plans with substantial data benefits.

Long-Term Plans from BSNL

The first plan on the list is STV_399 which offers 1GB of data per day for a period of 80 days along with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS/day for Rs 399. The plan also gives free access to BSNL tunes and Lokdhun content. The next is a similar plan but with slightly better benefits. The telco offers an STV_429 plan that offers 1GB of data per day as well for 81 days with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS/day along with access to Eros Now entertainment services for Rs 429.

The next on the list is a data-oriented prepaid plan offered by the telco. The plan comes at a price tag of Rs 447 and offers a total of 100GB of high-speed data. Beyond the set limit of 100GB of data, users can access the internet at 80 Kbps of speed. The plan comes with a validity period of 60 calendar days and even though it is mentioned under 'Data Voucher' on the website, it still offers unlimited voice calling along with 100 SMS per day. Along with the STV_447 plan, users can also get a subscription to BSNL Tunes and Eros Now Entertainment Services.

BSNL also offers an STV_499 pack for its users that has a three-month validity period. For Rs 499, BSNL users can get 2GB of data per day for a validity period of 90 days along with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS/day. This plan does not come with any OTT subscription. In addition to this, BSNL also offers a data-only prepaid plan with a yearlong validity. Users can get the DATA_1498 plan which provides 2GB of data per day for a validity period of 365 days at a price tag of Rs 1,498.

Last on the list is the long-term as well as high data prepaid plan offered by the government-owned telco – BSNL. The prepaid plan called STV_WFH_599 from BSNL comes at a price of Rs 599 and offers 5GB of data per day. Post the usage of the set data limit, users can enjoy the internet at 80 Kbps. Moreover, the validity period of this plan is 84 days. Users also get truly unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day in Home LSA and national roaming including while roaming in Mumbai and Delhi. The plan also offers a subscription to the Zing streaming platform which allows users access to thousands of songs, movies and other entertainment content. Another benefit this plan includes is that users can get unlimited free night data from 00:00 hours to 05:00 hours.

All the telecom operators in India have now introduced prepaid plans that offer a 30-day validity period for their subscribers. The move from the telcos comes in compliance with industry regulator TRAI's order according to which each service provider needs to have prepaid plans that can be renewed on the same date of every month. In this article, we are going to take a look at the monthly prepaid plans introduced by Jio, Airtel, Vi and BSNL along with the plan details.

Jio's Two New Plans

The leading telecom operator Jio has introduced two new prepaid plans with a monthly validity period for its users. The first plan on the list is a daily data plan that comes at a price tag of Rs 259 and offers 1.5GB of data per day for a period of 1 month. The plan offers unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS/day as well. The other plan from the telco is a Jio Freedom plan that comes at a price tag of Rs 299 and offers a total of 25GB of data along with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS/day for a period of 1-month.

Airtel Offers These Monthly Plans

The new plan introduced by Airtel for Rs 296 comes with a 30-day validity period and offers a total of 25GB of data. The prepaid plan also offers unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS/day. The other plan introduced by Airtel is actually a daily data plan. Airtel is offering 2GB of data per day for a validity period of 1 month at a price tag of Rs 319. The prepaid plan also offers unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS/day.

Vi's New Monthly Plans

Vi has introduced three new plans as well. The first plan from the telco comes at a price tag of Rs 337 and offers 28GB of data, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS/day. BSNL Monthly Plans

BSNL offers multiple plans with 30-day validity. The telco offers an STV_147 plan that gives 10GB of data for 30 days with unlimited voice calls at Rs 147. Next is an STV_247 plan that provides 50GB of data with unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS/day and a subscription to EROS Now for a period of 30 days at Rs 247. Lastly, BSNL provides a daily data plan called STV_299 which offers 3GB of data per day along with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS/day for Rs 299 with 30-day validity.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Realme has provided an official launch date for its upcoming Realme 9 4G smartphone. The company has scheduled a big launch event for April 7 in India where it will unveil its Realme GT 2 Pro flagship device. A number of other products such as Realme Buds Air 3 TWS earbuds and a new Realme TV stick will also be launched at the event. Now, the company has announced that the Realme 9 4G device will also be joining the portfolio.

The Realme 9 4G smartphone is going to be the latest addition to the Realme 9 series of smartphones that consists of Realme 9i, Realme 9 5G, Realme 9 5G Speed Edition, and Realme 9 Pro 5G, and Realme 9 Pro+ 5G. The brand has announced that the Realme 9 4G handset will be launched at 12:30 PM IST on April 7. The Realme 9 4G teaser released by the brand says that it will offer 9x focusing accuracy.

Realme 9 4G Specs and Design Details

Realme has also recently revealed that it will soon be announcing a smartphone with 108-megapixel ISOCELL HM6 image sensor and it seems that the Realme 9 4G be the device to come featuring it. Realme is yet to officially confirm the specification details for the upcoming smartphone, however, recent speculations suggest that the device will come with an S-AMOLED display that offers a 90Hz refresh rate.

In addition to this, the smartphone is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon chipset, the particulars of which are not specified. The Realme 9 4G is expected to arrive with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in storage. The device is likely to feature a triple rear camera setup headlined by the 108MP sensor along with a 16MP selfie camera at the front.

For the design part, Realme 9 4G has a GT Neo2 inspired camera module and is fitted with volume buttons on the right edge. The bottom side of the phone is populated with a 3.5mm audio jack, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille. The device will be available in gold, black, and white colour options.

It has addressed the needs of the users who wanted a plan that was suitable for a month with 31 days in it. The telco already offered a 30 days plan, so now users have both 30 days and 31 days plans on offer from the telco. On months with 30 days, users can make a recharge with the 30 days plan and on months with 31 days; users can go with the 31 days plan. Let's take a look at what the new plan brings to the table.

Vodafone Idea has launched a new Rs 337 prepaid plan with unlimited voice calling, 28GB of lump-sum data, and 100 SMS/day. As mentioned above, this plan has a validity of 31 days. There's also an over-the-top (OTT) benefit of Vi Movies & TV Classic bundled with this plan. It is a good option for months such as January, March, May, July, August, October, and December. All of these months have 31 days.

Vodafone Idea Rs 327 Prepaid Plan

For 30 day months, users can go with the old Rs 327 prepaid plan from Vi. This plan also comes with unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS/day. But with this plan, users get 25GB of data and 30 days of validity. There's also Vi Movies & TV Classic bundled. For months such as April, June, September, and November, this plan is a good option.

Both plans have a minimal price difference of Rs 10. But with the Rs 337 plan, with just Rs 10 extra, users get 3GB of extra data and one additional day of validity.

However, the telco offers two 100 Mbps plans at a similar price range that are both worth mentioning. The two 100 Mbps plans from the telco are SuperStar Premium-1 and Fibre Value plan. SuperStar Premium-1 and Fibre Value plans offer 100 Mbps of internet speed at the cost of Rs 749 and Rs 799 per month respectively. FUP data limit set on the SuperStar Premium-1 plan is 1000GB whereas on the Fibre Value plan is 3300GB. It is to be kept in mind that all these packs are exclusive of GST.

The 75 Mbps Plan from ACT

The Internet Service Provider based in Bengaluru provides a 75Mbps unlimited data plan called Rapid Plus under Rs 800 as the 100 Mbps plan from the telco goes just above the price mark. Users can get a Rapid Plus pack from the provider at a monthly cost of Rs 710. The FUP data limit levied is 750GB post and the internet works at speed of 512 Kbps. Users can also get free trials to some of the Over-The-Top (OTT) platforms and various add-ons with this pack. It is to be noted that this plan is for the city of Bengaluru, and it may vary across the country.

Excitel's Most Premium Plan

Excitel provides broadband connectivity only with 100 Mbps, 200 Mbps or 300 Mbps of internet speed. Thus, the 300 Mbps plan is the most premium plan offered by the company and also comes just under Rs 800 but with a twist. The 300 Mbps plan from Excitel comes at different price tags for different durations as well. Excitel provides users with a 300 Mbps plan for a month at Rs 899, however, users can also get the plan for 3 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months and 12 months for a monthly cost of Rs 752, Rs 636, Rs 600, Rs 533 and Rs 499 respectively making the plan quite cheap in the long-term. The plans from Excitel are truly unlimited and no FUP data limit is levied.
